Heather O'Donnell, Psychologist (M.Sc.), Artistic-Systemic Therapist (DGSF) and Pianist

Heather O’Donnell is a psychologist with a specialization in health and prevention psychology (M.Sc.), and artistic-systemic therapist (certified: DGSF), and a former professional musician. She provides consultation services to individual musicians and music organizations on mental health, resiliency, health maintenance, and injury prevention/recovery. She gives lectures, workshops, coachings (individual and group) and seminars on topics including:

  • mental and physical health

  • psychological resilience

  • practicing techniques

  • career transition for musicians

Her work with psychological care for musicians is informed and driven by her own experience with injury and illness as a professional musician and supported by extensive study and research in Health and Prevention Psychology, Mindfulness Training, Systemic-Thinking, and Psychological Resilience Research.
